Nausicaa with her children. It would be handy to have a war god as a child if it wasn't for that pesky poison light it emits...

Anyways, I should have known better than to re-read all of the manga while attending a week-long training course. Lots of art time... Yes, I know this would never happen as her beautiful blue dress got ruined right before the god picks her up, but I like the dress, and the god's scary eyes make a nice background...

Again, I'm still not to happy with my watercolours, but the paper had alot to do with the bleeding through the lines. All C&C is appreciated! Thanks ania for the new watercolour set :D :D

Oh wow I love it! ^_^ I actually love the watercoloring! I really does remind me of a Miyazaki watercolor. I really like the happy grin on the God warriors face.

Just wondering did you noticed the little blooper that happens in the manga when the god warrior awakens and meets nausicaa? When her clothes first rip her...one of her spats shin gaurd thingys are blown off. But (I believe this is correct...I havent read the manga in year) when the god warrior picks Nausicaa up a page later she has both of them.

*looks over vol 6* I see what you mean, though I think she only has one but it switches legs ^_^;; We'll forgive him for this small mistake though.

Thanks so much!! I wish I could pack the detail in that he does, but my page was so small... must to larger scale paintings.

Yeah its really the only blooper I ever found in the manga.

do it!!!!!! They're honestly the most amazing manga ever... the movie doesn't even scratch the surface :) (and if you're lucky, you can find them at the library :D )
